COVID -19 Crisis -- Support Local Businesses!!

Hello everyone,

Given the recent developments on a state, country, and worldwide level in order to fight the spread of COVID-19, this is a time to support each other now more than ever. All industries have been profoundly impacted by this pandemic.

First, the music industry has come to a standstill with tours and shows being canceled. For some, performing live is the main, if not only, source of income for them and their families. Unfortunately, buying tickets and going to see them live isn’t going to be an option at this point, but if you were intending on supporting them that way, support them in other ways by using that money to get some sick merch on their online store, or purchasing their music, or even streaming helps in the long run. If they don’t have an online store for whatever reason and you would like to get some merch, reach out to them on socials, they’ll gladly work something out with you, we’re sure.

Also, this goes far beyond the music industry. All local businesses are taking a major hit from this. Some of our members are involved or have close family involved in local businesses around our area, and the impact has already been devastating. So, support your local restaurants if they are offering carry out, and tip normal. If this lasts for more than a couple weeks, things are going to get bad for families who rely on income from those jobs.

Times are tough, but we need to help each other out. If we stay united, it will minimize the impact, and we will bounce back from all this maybe even stronger than before, once everything gets regulated afterwards.
